2014 Conservation Calendar arrives November 26

The City’s 2014 Conservation Calendar will be delivered to Guelph homes with the Guelph Tribune on Tuesday, November 26.
The Conservation Calendar includes the 2014 curbside garbage collection schedule for bags and carts, seasonal program and event information, and practical tips to help reduce waste, and to conserve energy and water—actions that will save residents time and money.
In response to 2013 survey feedback, the calendar space was increased to create larger date boxes, making the calendar even more user friendly.
Copies of the 2014 Conservation Calendar will also be available for pick up at various City facilities in December. Visit guelph.ca/environment for more information.
Residents are invited to share their feedback about the calendar by completing a quick online survey at guelph.ca/environment beginning November 26. A printed survey will also be available at City facilities.

The cost to produce and distribute the calendar to residents is $22,064 or $0.48 each.

The Municipal Waste Association (MWA) awarded the City of Guelph with the 2013 Gold Promotion and Education Award for Calendar (distributed to over 30,000 households) for the City’s 2013 edition of the Conservation Calendar. Previous editions of the calendar have also garnered awards and recognition from the Canadian Public Relations Society, the Municipal Waste Association, and the Recycling Council of Ontario.
