Family Gym Night
Friday, January 18th, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at GCVI at 155 Paisley Road (enter through Yorkshire St. entrance. This event will take place the second Friday of every month and is a fun night for parents and children of all ages to join in activities like basketball, floor hockey etc. We have activities for preschoolers too! Please accompany your children enjoy the activities with them and to meet people in your neighbourhood. Indoor shoes will be required. Action Read Reading Program
This free reading program includes stories, snacks and fun. The program runs Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the upper viewing area of Exhibition Park arena. Space is limited, so call 519-836-2759 for availability.
Volunteers Needed
The 13th Annual Winterfest is coming to your neighbourhood on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 and we are looking for volunteers to help us plan some fun events to accompany the free skating that will be available on that day. We are also looking into starting a coffee morning, one morning a week at the arena and could use some help in planning and setting up.
