A resident’s comments.
Today I had the opportunity to take part in the highway of heros ride. I started of my day at the legion here in Guelph. I was amazed and still am, in the support that the city showed for the ride. From the council showing up, the support of the firefighters to the full police escort. Guelph should be proud, while many still slept or were having breakfast the city showed its class, far out shining the other places we traveled. A thank you to the firefighters who waved us on. A thank you to the police who led us and followed us as well as the officers who held traffic back for the rolling thunder. To the bus driver who pulled over- respect. City council thank you. I hold my head higher today, Because, I live in Guelph. LH
