Staff memo.
Please be advised of the following outcomes re yesterday’s inaccurate coverage.
The Mercury has amended its original article. It has been overwritten with an entirely new version. In it, the paper acknowledges the inaccurate reporting. This means the incorrect story is offline.
Staff has sent a letter to the managing editor. The City will be sharing that letter out via its social media channels this evening. Please feel free to share the same with your own networks.
