You know, those nasty piles of crusty snow and salt plugging your driveway after the plow has cleared your street.
In Hamilton, Snow Angels come to the rescue. An organized group of volunteers assist members of their community who are unable clear windrows themselves.
Included in the 2009 draft budget, The City of Guelph Operations staff are proposing a similar arrangement here. The cost to implement and manage this volunteer service is $54,700.
