Snow Removal

Kudos to the city for the timely and efficient removal of snow from downtown Guelph after Sunday’s snowstorm. Two years ago we had a storm just a few days before Christmas and the city’s centre was left virutally untouched. All of the plows were busy in the south end. Of course, this made it difficult for people to come downtown in these busy shopping days before Christmas.      BM

From my prospective and based on the exceptionally heavy weekend snowfall, the city’s streets appeared to be quickly and effectively plowed, so please pass on a ‘ well done job ‘ and thanks to those involved.

Certainly Guelph’s ‘ no street parking ‘ policy had to be a real benefit in such cases and should never be rescinded.         BA

I was born and raised in Guelph (Now live in Alberta), and recently checked the website and was pleasantly surprised with a new city logo, I think it shows that Guelph is an advancing community, i love the simple logo, really says “Guelph”. My wife and I are planning a move back to Guelph. I love that city, I think you and your council are doing a good job, I just hope that you continue to listen to the community when making decisions. Guelph has so much to offer. I am happy to see the Guelph is a leader in the environmental impact reduction. Well just wanted to commend you and the council.   DG
