Goldenview Drive to Conservation Drive is now open to motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.
“We completed road repairs early this morning and opened Victoria Road North,” said Nello Violin, manager of roads and right of ways
. “The City would like to thank the Grand River Conservation Authority and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for their valuable assistance and support during this emergency road repair.”
The Victoria Road collapse occurred Saturday, May 24, and was caused by an opening in the culvert beneath the road. City staff replaced the entire length of the culvert with a new pipe, and repaired the road surface.
