Staff memo.
We have had our first snow flurries of the 2014/15 season this morning. Our Road Patrol is reporting road temperatures at +2C causing the snow to melt on impact. As a result there is no winter control snow clearing/de-icing action being taken at this time. Road Patrol will continue to monitor the conditions.
If temperatures drop, PW Dept is prepared to apply de-icing material to bridge decks and arterial/collector highways (streets).
