Great job on the budget last night — and finishing by 11 pm. at that!!
I know that there were a lot of challenges this time, and that there will be many more to come, but on behalf of Guelph Arts Council and the arts community of this City, I do want to say many thanks to those of you who voted in support of the new position of supervisor of arts and culture. We know you wont regret this decision, and that it will make a difference in terms of fulfilling the City’s strategic goals.
Thanks, too, to those of you (Mike, Vicki, Maggie, June) who spoke out so eloquently on why the position was a must at this time in the City’s history. SW
