A new online service request portal is now available on guelph.ca, making it quick and easy for residents to report fallen tree branches, potholes and potential bylaw infractions, and make requests for overnight parking exemptions, tree replacement, and a number of other City services.
The new How can we help you? portal provides residents with information on services including winter maintenance; road and sidewalk maintenance; trees; traffic control, street lights, signs and signals; parking; by-law compliance; pets and wildlife; parks and trails; providing feedback on City services; and items lost and found in City buildings, parking lots, buses and facilities. The online portal provides residents with information on services provided, the City’s service standards, and how to report a problem or request work, including an online service request form.
The online service request form makes it easy for residents to report a problem or request work, while ensuring that the City has the information it needs to proceed. It also allows the City to follow-up with the person who made the request after the work is complete, and obtain feedback on the service provided.
“The How can we help you? portal will make it easier for residents to request service from the City, and for the City to collect feedback from residents,” said Katherine Gray, supervisor of Service Performance and Development for the City’s Operations, Transit and Emergency Services. “This new system is one of the ways we are working to provide better service to our residents.”
