A resident’s comments.
I wanted to thank you for responding so quickly to the pothole complaint on London Road East (Ref 1407657). It is so nice to have the road reasonably smooth again, and I don’t have panic attacks every time a cyclist comes racing down the hill anymore. I always felt they were going to get a tire caught in the uneven areas and have a nasty spill.
As well, I wish to thank the nice young man in the City of Guelph pickup who removed the pile of asphalt from my lawn. It has been sitting there for ages. I’m not certain if he was from your department. He told me that the city had not been responsible for it (I had recently been informed it was the railway’s jurisdiction), but he removed it for me anyway. Now that is service! CH
