We wanted to send this email while our thoughts and emotions from tonight’s meeting are still strong. We think that it is pretty rare to have a community issue generate this kind of passion even though some of our neighbours let their emotions go a little too far tonight. But we want to stress that we do not sit on the fence with regard to this issue. Simply put, we want you to know that if you were to support the amendment for the re-zoning thereby supporting the building of this temple in our neighbourhood then you will not receive our votes in any future municipal elections.
