All week the staff at the ward 2 blog will be posting our top ten blog entries as determined by our editors.
Although we tried to focus on Ward 2 specific topics, some of the issues have a community wide interest.
#8. 15 Carere Ave. In September, Councillor Beard and myself met with dozens of residents in the neighbourhood of a proposed subdivision at 15 Carere.
Residents raised concerns about increased traffic, density and parking.
A more formal meeting was arranged with the developer, representatives from the neighbourhood, City staff and Ward 2 councillors. Although no agreement was met, further meetings were discussed.
Staff have given notice that the applicant wishes to proceed with a committee of adjustment hearing for the application.
