Well, the Mercury had an article in the Saturday edition regarding the effect the new transit hub is having on upper Wyndham street stores and banks. Dah, should the powers that be not realize that this would happen. Basically everyone knows that except for a few businesses (one of which is yours), the patrons of upper Wyndham stores and banks are seniors.
Personally I am an active senior and I have to exit the bus at the 5 points in order to go to the Library, Flour Barrel, Budds and Bank of Nova Scotia. If I used a walker or crutches I could not do it. In my opinion we need some thinkers in city hall, who can see beyond the box and be able to visualize what is needed.
I am sorely tempted to move out of Guelph. It is not the Guelph I knew and loved. BP
