Friday Noon Hour Concerts 2012 – Call for Artists

Downtown Guelph is seeking submissions from musicians and entertainers interested in performing for our 2012 Noon Hour Concert Series, staged every Friday from end-May to mid-September in St George’s Square. We welcome interest from groups and individuals from all genres of music, and are aiming for talent that is marketable to the global audience present during the noon hour. Additional musicians will be sought this season for Fourth Fridays, a burgeoning Downtown Guelph event which embraces creativity, community and performance on the fourth Friday of each month.

This is an excellent opportunity to participate in highly regarded local events. Friday Noon Hour Concerts are a long- standing tradition of the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) whose intent is to enliven and pay tribute to our downtown community by showcasing local and regional talent. Artists are chosen by committee and are paid for their performances. Instruments, all sound and technical equipment are the responsibility of the artists. Power and shelter are supplied by the organiser. Each concert is a rain or shine event.

To apply, please submit a demo CD or EPK, or a link to your web page, PLUS a one-sheet biography by February 24th, 2012 to:
