As an exciting preview to the 11th annual Art on the Street, the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA) has paired participating artists with downtown venues for a preview of selected artwork prior to the event.

Art in the Shops creates a superb opportunity for businesses beyond Quebec Street to get involved. Please visit our art in the shops page for complete listing of artist and partnering businesses.

Art on the Street Saturday July 13th, 10am – 5pm

Downtown Guelph– A highly regarded exhibition and sale that has become a staple calendar event for art lovers of all ages.

Come browse the original works of art and shop for one-of-a-kind gifts.

With a juried selection of artisans displaying works including just about every medium: textiles, pottery, photography, watercolours, oils, acrylic and more.

Enjoy specialty foods from local businesses and live music from local performers.

Borrow one of our parasols, have a squirt of our free sunscreen and take a leisurely stroll through hundreds of original pieces of art.

Bring the family and enjoy the fresh addition of the Children’s Arts Festival in St George’s Square.

Musical, theatrical and entertaining performances are scheduled throughout the day, alongside artistic activities for the kids.

There’s a large wooden castle to paint, a clay sculpture that needs shaping, and imaginative pursuits at hand from the Guelph School of Art, Guelph Public Library, Play with Clay and others.

art on the street is a free event which welcomes art lovers of all ages, and is co-hosted by the Downtown Guelph Business Association (DGBA)
and Guelph Arts Council (GAC).
