Baby bus adds

Councillor Findlay and the Deuce get “played”.

I would like to tell you how much I appreciate the messages on the backs of some of your buses. The message “I am a child, not a choice” show me that there are still those who appreciate life during all its stages. There is nothing offencive about this add, and I am grateful that you are allowing the adds to continue. There are so many adds which try to show us something, though it is hidden
behind a sign. Like the adds where naked men are just covered up by a sign. If there is anything questionable about a baby on the back of a bus then there certainly should be many more complaints against the adds with strategically covered naked men.   TM

I would like to express my enjoyment of the Guelph and Area Right to Life bus ads on the rear of the transit buses. They do not use shock value like so much advertising does and are pleasing to the eye. While people may not agree with the idea they are trying to convey, much the same as I do not agree with some of the ideas Stone Road Mall tries to convey in its bus ads, these “I’m a person, not a choice!” ads are definitely within the limitations given by Guelph Transit in its advertising rules.   SM
