H1N1 update from WDG Public Health

Here’s an update on H1N1 flu activity:

H1N1 Vaccine
We received an allotment of 12000 doses of adjuvant H1N1 vaccine late last week
This has been repackaged and distributed to physicians, hospitals, health care facilities for immunization of health care workers and priority populations. We have set aside an allotment for our Guelph public flu clinic this Friday, uncertain as to time of shipment of this week’s order from the MOHLTC
We are hoping for a second shipment this week of 14,500 doses which will again have to be repackaged
We will continue to fill physician orders weekly as we receive our provincial allotments

Clinics will be offered at eight locations across Wellington and Dufferin counties
