A big item is the salary increase for Mayor and Councillors-the citizen committee of 5 who suggested this are NOT representative of the city population-if the councillors are i tune with citizens, they will vote it down on May 25-I hope there is a recorded vote on that issue as I will not vote for a councillor who is in favour of the increase-especially the $10,000 for Mayor. These people wanted their jobs at the present salary; and they voted to make City employees take 5 unpaid “Karen” days so if any one of them votes for a salary increase for the next 4 years, they are leading a double standard.
