I am emailing to show my support for community gardens in Guelph. This is a really positive initiative that creates a greater sense of community and is really good for the environment. It gives people an opportunity to create a positive impact on their community and themselves.
I’m asking you to support the use of Guelph’s public spaces for community gardens and to make community gardens a priority in the 2010 City of Guelph Budget.DA

I am writing to state my support for community gardens in Guelph. There are many reasons why community gardens are important, especially during these times of major economic and social change. Community gardens provide local organic food and promote community health through access to fresh fruits and vegetables. They promote physical activity and build a sense of community involvement, ownership and connection, while at the same time reducing dependence on food transported from great distances and involving major carbon emissions.
