Official launch of the Blue Built Home program

The City of Guelph will officially launch the Blue Built Home water efficiency standards and rebate program on Thursday, June 30 from 10 to 11 a.m.
The Blue Built Home program is a certification program for new homes in Guelph, developed in consultation with local home builders and administered by the City. Blue Built Homes are certified according to three water-efficiency standards—Bronze, Silver or Gold.
Local home builders—Reid’s Heritage Homes, Sloot Construction and Terra View Homes—will be in attendance to celebrate with Mayor Farbridge, Councillors and City personnel.
Following the official launch ceremony, attendees will be invited for a tour of Reid’s Heritage Homes’ demonstration Blue Built Home that showcases water-efficient fixtures and appliances, a greywater reuse system, and an indoor rainwater harvesting system display.
