On February 8th 2014, Guelph Public Library is pleased to host its 2nd annual Evening for Book Lovers – Red Carpet Edition, which will be held at the beautiful Hanlon Convention Centre!
Attendees will enjoy a fabulous three course dinner, lots of contests and prizes, silent auction festivities, and fun for everyone as we celebrate award winning entertainment and an appreciation for books and movies! Guests are encouraged to walk the red carpet dressed as their favourite movie/book character, come as film or book critics, or even paparazzi! Despite wicked weather, thanks to the generosity of our guests, sponsors, and donors, last year’s event was a tremendous success, and we hope to make next year’s event even more successful!
Tickets for this extraordinary evening will be available online or at any library location beginning December 2nd 2013 ($85 per person or $600 for a table of 8). Invite your friends, neighbours, co-workers, book club members, and anyone interested in a wonderful night out for a great cause!
