The City of Guelph is expecting significant snowfall later today with total accumulation forecasted to be approximately 10 cm. Light flurries leading to heavier snow is expected to start at 3 pm today.
A full complement of Public Works winter control staff are on duty and will respond in accordance to protocols. In preparation, some anti-icing material will be applied this morning and early this afternoon on known trouble areas (ie. hills and bridges) and key arterial routes.
