In any event I wanted to comment on the excellent snow ploughing done by the operator of the road grader on Wednesday night as he cleared Gombas Pl.
As ours is the first driveway on the crescent we can be subject to a whole whack of snow not only from Gombas but also from Fife Rd. However the excellent operator of the road grader has angled the blade away from our driveway and has saved me and my back the pain of having to clear out 4 foot deep snow banks. In fact there wasn’t a trace of ploughed snow at the end of our driveway!
At a time when many people slam the city for their clean up efforts after a storm I think it is important to acknowledge and thank that operator for his excellent service.
Please pass this on to the appropriate department. I trust and hope that these words will be passed on to that operator.
