THANK YOU ‘FORE’ ANOTHER GREAT GPL LIBRARY LINKS GOLF CLASSIC!

With a scattering of dark clouds and a chilly breeze, over 110 people braved the cool elements to be a part of the Guelph Public Library’s Golf Classic. Held at the scenic Victoria Park East Golf course, a memorable time was had by all participants with fabulous prizes, a wonderful atmosphere, and friendly volunteers! This ‘lucky’ Friday the 13th event rose close to $7,000 – which directly supports the GPL’s new Main Library’s furnishings and equipment. The event was full of camaraderie, competition, and of course, some lucky strokes!

The Guelph Public Library Board and staff thank everyone who participated in and sponsored the Library Links golf tournament this year. Your generosity truly helped to make this day yet another resounding success. The GPL is ‘lucky’ to have strong community supporters as it ‘drives’ for a new Main Library in Guelph!
