The year of OX

A new downtown restaurant idea.

Well, we’re off! With the new year, plans are flying around with all the excitement of newness and renewal combined. As many of you know, Jeff Sample and I, with full endorsement from the Bookshelf, are opening up a new restaurant based, in part, on the products we sell at Ouderkirk & Taylor. ‘OX’, as we’ve named it, will be a dynamic, fun and upbeat space focused on the delight of the senses.

As a means to connect the new space to our friends and like-minded souls, we have started a Community Supported Enterprise (CSE), the details of which are contained in the attached pdf. The Community Bonds we are selling under the CSE are available for $500 each (limit 10 per person) and come with a slew of benefits and perks. There has been a great deal of interest in this program so far, so I thought I would send it out to everybody to ensure that each of your are in the loop. If there are other people or groups you think may be interested in this little venture/adventure, please do not hesitate to forward this email along. There are a limited number of bonds available so we will be assigning them on a first come, first served basis.

All people signing up for the CSE will be deemed Founders Club members, and will be showered with praise and affection. We have some great ideas and ambition for this new space and its success will be made sweeter knowing that the stellar members of our community helped make it all happen.

Thank you, in advance, for your interest and participation.   MR
