Re-construction of the Victoria Rd. North culvert is underway with full excavation complete as of the end of the day Wednesday. Upon day lighting of the full culvert length, its condition was determined to be poor and irreparable. City staff in consultation with the GRCA have agreed that a full replacement is required and final design considerations are being worked on today.
It is expected at this time with sustained good weather conditions that the original time line for the re-construction will be maintained with completion of the work estimated to be by Monday June 16th.
We recognize the inconvenience to the motoring Public and ask for patience during this re-construction, and to please utilize the detour routes as signed.
