Staff memo.
We did not get the accumulation of 3cm overnight that was originally forecasted. However, we did receive approximately 1cm and combined with frost and -7 temperatures, the roads are requiring treatment.
Right now all 12 routes are covered and material has already been put down to assist Transit those driving.
More snow is expected this morning with a peak of 10am and then it will fall off with negligible snow for the remainder of the day. Total new snow is approx 4-5cm. Blowing snow is possible.
Drivers should use caution and slow down in accordance with the road conditions.
