I’m really impressed with the preliminary budget presentations happening at city hall right now. The actual budget won’t come down for two months, but these meetings are being held to give council a better idea of what to expect once the new year rolls around.
It’s also a chance for city staff to gauge council’s appetite for certain things, a transit fare increase for example. Read more.
