Election bugs

I was delighted to read in the Mercury that the city is looking at changes in the municipal voting system. With only 68 station and 90,000 names on the voting lists this means that each station could have more than 1324 voters. No way would any one be able to handle that many voters at one station. Even if the list were cut down to 45,000 and only 68 poles it would mean 662 for each station. Why not look at having more station? Both at provincial and federal elections there are over 200 poles covering the same geographical area.
