It is with great regret that I notify you that effective immediately, I will be resigning my Councillor position on the Downtown Library Site Selection Committee.
I will be maintaining my position on the Guelph Public Library Board. However, I will be excusing myself on any decisions relating to the location of a new Downtown Library site to avoid any potential conflict of interest.
I will also be excusing myself on any City Council decisions relating to the location of the new Downtown Public Library location to avoid any conflict.
I would like to thank the Library Site Selection Committee for their hard work and dedication.
I look forward to a new Downtown Library being built at the best possible location.
