Please be advised that due to recent concerns regarding vehicles parking along the south side of Emma Street across from residences 52 to 68 making it difficult to exit from these residential driveways, City staff have conducted a review of the existing on-street parking restrictions on Emma Street.
As a result of this review, staff are prepared to extend the existing “No Parking” zone located on the south side of Emma Street provided there is sufficient residential support for the amendment. The amendment would expand the existing “No Parking” zone located on the south side of Emma Street from Delhi Street to the Homewood parking lot entrance.
Therefore, we are asking that prior to Thursday, November 22nd please indicate your preference:
A)No change to existing on-street parking on Emma Street.
OR
B) Expand the existing “No Parking” zone located on the south side of Emma Street from Delhi Street to the Homewood parking lot entrance.
We will accept one response from each residence and should 75% of those residents affected respond in favour of the restriction, we will recommend to Council that the “No Parking” zone be expanded.
