Thank you for the comments on Waverley Park Redevelopment Plan Concepts, presented during the public meeting held at Waverley Drive Public School on September 20, 2005.
Development and Parks planning staff has prepared a master plan proposal to redevelop the park based on the preferred concept and it includes the following components:
• New accessible Water Play with recycle water system,
• Two mini Soccer Fields,
• Ice rink with lighting,
• Free play area,
• Trees,
• Asphalt paths
• Site Furniture: benches, trash receptacles and bike rack
• Park Signage
A report has been prepared seeking Council approval for the Redevelopment Plan. This report is scheduled to be presented to the Community Development and Environmental Services Committee on Friday June 8th 2007, beginning at 9.30 am.
